Themba Khambule is a self-taught performing artist from Gauteng, South Africa, who built his career without formal training. He started with the Thesele Creative Society in 2006 and gained recognition through street theatre productions like “Chick Eat No” and “Champions,” which toured the Netherlands and Belgium in 2007/2008. In 2008, he attended a flag-waving workshop and was chosen to teach the skill at the Mmabana Arts Centre in Bloemfontein.

Themba joined Dinganga Theatre Creations, performing in shows such as “Ndlovukazi the Musical,” “Matters of the Heart,” and “The Frontliner.” He appeared in the children’s TV show “Mam’sakhile’s Story House” on SABC1 in 2008 and returned for its second season in 2024. In 2025, he had a cameo in “My Brother’s Keeper.” Recently, he performed in industrial theatre for Unisa and the tourism sector, and is now assisting in directing a production touring to the USA’s Tampa Fringe Festival in June 2025.
